Dr. Janice J. Stone D.C. B.S.
Dr. Stone hails from the sunny island of Jamaica and is a graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis and Howard University in Washington D.C. Her mission is to serve, educate and empower families in the community through principled , specific chiropractic wellness care, moving them towards the abundant lives God has intended them to live. She has been a frequent guest specialist on WAVS 1170 AM, and Dr. Stone speaks regularly in churches, social groups and places of business on stress management, peak performance, injury prevention, nutrition, exercise and women’s health.
She is actively involved in the community and conducts events such as Kids Day in her office where children are able to tour a fire engine, get free child-id cards, free spinal and scoliosis screening and get information on vaccination and environmental awareness.
Dr. Stone also donates her time to the Lauderdale Lakes and Lee Branch of the YMCA and serves as Team Chiropractor for the basketball and football teams. Dr. Stone is a lifetime member of the prestigious Manchester Who’s Who, a board member of the Greater Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and the EWomenNetwork.
Dr. Stone's greatest motivator and inspiration is her grandfather Harry Bernard who was born in 1906 and who passed away in April 2010. He attributed his longevity and quality of life to his firm belief in God, healthy diet and lifestyle and chiropractic care from his granddaughter.
During her residency, she worked with Dr. Spencer Baron, D.C., Team Chiropractor for the Miami Dolphins. She practices in Davie, Florida and sees patients of all ages. People who attend her workshops as well as her patients are always inspired by her down to earth style and her infectious smile. They always leave not only learning something but empowered to change their lives.
